We celebrate the 60th anniversary of Alfred Hitchcock’s VERTIGO with a special screening with Bernard Herrmann’s amazing score played live by the prestigious Orquestra Simfònica Camera Musicae (more than 60 musicians on stage), conducted by Anthony Gabrielle. The latest poll of the prestigious Sight & Sound magazine considers VERTIGO as the best film ever made. James Stewart and Kim Novak star in a story that transcent the usual suspense of Hitchcock’s films and ventures into the desires, passions and obsessions of the human mind.
The sublime, romantic and mysterious music by Bernard Herrmann is regarded as one of the best musical compositions for the movies and it will be experienced in all its symphonic glory. We will screen it in its original English version with Spanish subtitles.
